SCAPE Public Art
SCAPE Public Art installs public art in Christchurch all year round with a focus on the annual festivals - six-week, citywide celebrations where large-scale, contemporary artworks pop-up in public spaces around central Christchurch. Visiting the artworks during the festivals is free for everyone, integrating art into the everyday lives of locals and creating a spectacle worth experiencing for those visiting from out of town.
SCAPE Public Art has been implementing these festivals for over 21 years, and has become New Zealand's premier public art event - something exciting and unique to complement our evolving city.
SCAPE Public Art Season 2020 dates: 3 Oct – 14 November.
